West End LIVE…arguably the world’s biggest and best musical theatre festival, has confirmed it will return to Trafalgar Square on 18 and 19 June in 2016.
For more than a decade the incredible free weekend event has drawn thousands of musical theatre fans together to watch exclusive live performances from London’s top West End shows, some of the world’s most famous performers and one-off special sets.
Last year a staggering 500,000 people enjoyed a packed weekend schedule of appearances from London’s long-running musicals including Les Misérables, Matilda The Musical and Billy Elliot, as well as sneak previews of new musicals that hadn’t even hit the West End yet.
This year’s West End LIVE with MasterCard will be no exception, with the full line-up for the 12th ever event set to be announced in the coming weeks. While you will have to wait until then to find out exactly who will be performing at this year’s festival, with no other event of its kind on such a large scale, we can ensure it’s an absolute must-see for all musical theatre fans.
As the outdoor festival’s official online media partner, we’ll have all the latest updates and news for you first, so make sure to follow us on Twitter and check Official London Theatre regularly to keep up to date.
