Ricky Wilson has revealed he’s yet to be asked to return to The Voice UK in 2015.

The Kaiser Chiefs frontman joined the panel this year and proved a hit on the show, mentoring Christina Marie to the final three.

But so far BBC bosses have yet to speak to him about returning even though auditions for the new series have already begun.

“I haven’t been asked yet, for a start,” Ricky said of coming back next year. “People keep telling me rumours of who might join the panel and I’m not sure there’d be a space for me.

“It would definitely depend on the coaches.”

Kylie Minogue has already confirmed she’s out of the show and as yet neither Will.i.am nor Sir Tom Jones are down for what would be a fourth series for them.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Ricky said: “It would be weird doing it without Kylie. She helped get me over the edge.

“Kylie, Tom and Will were a huge part of the experience. If I do it again I will definitely miss her.”

Aussie star Kylie, currently a judge on the Australian version of the show, announced her exit earlier this month, blaming clashes with her new tour later this year.

“Hi Lovers, thanks to all of you for your incredible support throughout this past season of The Voice UK,” Kylie explained. “I’m sad to say that, due to the timing of my European Tour, I won’t be back for season four. I absolutely loved my time on the show, and I’ll miss all of the incredible people who were a part of my experience.

“I hope to see you all on my Kiss Me Once Tour, and wish continued success to everyone at The Voice!”
