Former X Factor star Stacey Solomon has confessed to not liking the single life one bit, after splitting up with her fiancé earlier this year.

The mum-of-two announced in April that she and Aaron Barnham had called an end to their relationship and says that she has not been on a date since then.

New quoted Stacey as saying: “I can’t say it’s something I enjoy but I’m a positive person and I’m happy to be just me.”

The 24-year-old singer and TV presenter admits that she finds the likes of dating app Tinder “scarey” and prefers to find love as it comes.

She told the magazine: “I really don’t know. I just let it happen the way it happens.

“I’m not trying too hard for anything really. There’s no point looking is there?

“You never find it, so I might as well shut my eyes,” she added.

The former queen of the jungle insisted after her split with Barnham that she was going to concentrate all her efforts on looking after her two sons – 23-month-old Leighton and six-year-old Zachary.

Stacey previously revealed “I’ve just finished recording a new album.”

The beautifully bubbly Stace, who shot to fame on the X Factor in 2009, was bouncing with enthusiasm about the album, that she is “so excited” about releasing.

Not only was the Reality TV star hyped for the relaunch of her singing career, but she was also buzzing at the idea of maybe taking a seat as an X Factor judge in the future.

Oh my gawwwd, can you imagine? As Stacey said, it would be “sooooooo amazing.”

We can’t wait to see what Stace’s debut studio album has in store for us.
