Ed Sheeran thinks Pharrell Williams is a ‘humble guy’.
The 22-year-old singer met the music producer backstage at the Grammy Awards on Sunday after he pikced up four awards from his collaboration ‘Get Lucky’ with Daft Punk.
Ed told Entertainment Tonight: ”We had fun, he’s a nice guy. He’s such a humble guy. He doesn’t really take compliments. He just brushes them off and kind of carries on talking about stuff.”
As well as picking up prizes including Record of the Year and Album of the Year for his work with Daft Punk, Pharrell has also been nominated in the Best Original Song category at this year’s Academy Awards for his track ‘Happy’ from the family film ‘Despicable Me 2’.
The 40-year-old was left stunned by the nomination and said he didn’t expect it.

He told Access Hollywood: ”I said thank you first and then I was like, no offence to anyone, but I was kind of like catatonic for like 20 minutes.
”The thing is it’s not my doing. You know, I did the song. And when you look at all the views and you look at all the purchases and the shares and the requests, those are the people.
”That’s how you quantify success, is by what the people put into it. And so the people did these things for me so. I’m very thankful. I’m humbled by it.”
