Singer-songwriter Ella Eyre has collaborated with composer David Arnold to blend their distinctive styles of music and record a track for the Bose Urban Conductor, an immersive live experience, to take place in Manchester and London.

The track, a cover of Pompeii by Bastille, will feature exclusively in the Urban Conductor experience, inviting visitors to create their own personal version of the song using the Bose SoundTrue headphones and then share it over social media.

Eyre said, “I’ve worked with a range of musicians in the past but collaborating with David Arnold has been a truly unique and fun experience. He’s an incredible character and I’ve really enjoyed working closely together, applying our music styles and creating a track that is distinctive and will be enjoyed by our fan base.”

The British singer and songwriter is preparing for her forthcoming UK tour – which kicks off at The Institute in Birmingham next week – admitting that her specially-made onesie is a must-have for life on the road.

She said: ”Me and the band have these customised onesies that a friend of mine made for us from this company, Young Ones, which has my lion logo on the back and everybody’s initials on the front.”

The ‘If You Go’ singer – who is most well-known for her ‘Waiting All Night’ collaboration with Rudimental – said that the snugly outfits are perfect for travelling in, which is great because she spends so much time touring.

The 20-year-old curly-haired diva continued: ”It’s one of those things where when you’re on a tour bus it’s such a creature comfort to have your own little bodysuit.”

However, the musician – who will release her new single ‘Comeback’ on Sunday (28.09.14) – admitted that there are added benefits to the fleecy costumes, including the ability to prevent the spread of unpleasant personal odours.

She giggled: ”It contains your smell really well so the bus doesn’t end up smelling too bad, if you just pull on your onesie!”
