TikTok’s most popular female influencers

Bella Poarch

25, holds the record for the most-viewed TikTok in history.

Poarch’s biggest claim to fame is her wildly popular lip-syncing videos. One video in particular of her mouthing the song ‘M to the B’ by Millie B became an online sensation, attracting over 700 million views.

It was only 10 seconds long, but Poarch’s simple video made her one of the biggest breakout stars on the app.

Poarch, who once worked for the US navy, found herself embroiled in controversy after followers noticed she had a tattoo similar to the Japanese Rising Sun flag, which is a symbol of Japanese imperialism.

In September 2020, she apologised and had the ink covered up.

Then, in May 2021, Poarch released her debut single ‘Build a B—‘.

The influencer-turned-musician said she faced some obstacles due to the origin of her fame.

“It’s not in my favour that I started out as an influencer and people think I’m just starting to make music when, actually, I’ve been doing it my whole life,” she said.

“And I know there’s a lot of hate and negativity recently about TikTokers making music. But at the end of the day, I don’t give a s—. I’m just doing what I love to do.”

Since finding fame on the app, Rae has transformed from social media influencer into regular celebrity.

So much so, her family was subject of a media and paparazzi frenzy in July 2022 after it was revealed Easterling’s father, Monty Lopez, allegedly had an affair with a 25-year-old.

Renee Ash was “misled” by Lopez, who she claims told her he was getting a divorce.

“He misled me on his marriage, he lied to me,”.

“He told me that we were going to be together and have babies together. He even introduced me to his mom, his youngest brother and I thought we had something real. He told me a story of his marriage that convinced me that they were apart and in the process of getting a divorce.”

Charli D’Amelio

Similar to Addison Rae, TikTok star Charli D’Amelio, 18, was a breakout star during the pandemic.

D’Amelio was the first TikTok personality to reach 50 million followers, with her following count rising to above 100 million in 2020 after she began posting in May 2019.

Comparatively, it took 14 hours for any YouTube channel to reach 100 million subscribers.

Since her stardom rose on TikTok, the young influencer has launched a podcast, signed a book deal and expanded into vlogging.

Her family, including parents Marc and Heidi and sister Dixie, even starred in a reality series on Disney+, The D’Amelio Show.

Dixie D’Amelio

Charli’s older sister Dixie D’Ameilo, 20, followed a similar trajectory to her famous sibling.
