Iconic TV show – The Wonder Years cast: Then and now

Before The Wonder Years, Savage got a taste of things to come when he appeared in The Princess Bride as the grandson who was listening to his grandfather tell the story of the film.

When he was later cast in The Wonder Years, Savage was only 12. But by the time he was 13, he had already scored an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

After the show ended, he took a break from acting to attend high school and college, before making his return in shows such Boy Meets World (which starred his younger brother, Ben Savage), The Outer Limits and Law & Order: SVU.

Savage also went on to voiced himself on Family Guy and played Max Adler on the Netflix comedy Friends from College.

The actor also made cameos as himself in Super Troopers 2 and Deadpool 2.

The 45-year-old has also tried his hand at directing, calling the shots on shows such as Black-ish, Modern Family, Dash & Lily, 2 Broke Girls, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and more.

He has been married to Jennifer Lynn Stone since 2004 and they have three children.
