Sir Bob Geldof has announced plans to record a new Band Aid single.

The musician, who launched the project 30 years ago to raise funds for anti-poverty causes in Africa, confirmed the news today (November 10).
Acts such as One Direction, Emeli Sande, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Ellie Goulding will feature on the track.
Other artists due to feature include Bono, Chris Martin, Foals, Bastille, Olly Murs, Jessie Ware and Paloma Faith.
The new single is being recorded on Saturday (November 15) in aid of efforts to stop the Ebola disease.
The words about hunger in the original ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ song will be changed to reflect the Ebola epidemic.
The cover artwork for the single will be designed by Tracy Emin.
The track is expected to be released next Monday (November 17).
