Brittany started acting as a teenager when she landed a recurring part as Susan Lemay on Guiding Light, she then earned a starring role on American Dreams on NBC.
The actress then made her film debut alongside Vin Diesel in The Pacifier in 2005. She upped her star with a part in teen comedy John Tucker Must Die before scoring the role of Amber Von Tussle in the movie adaptation of Hairspray.

Tyler came into the spotlight in Selling the OC during the drama involving his co-star Kayla Cardona.
After having a little too much to drink, Kayla tried to kiss Tyler even though she knew he was a married man.
She was mortified by her actions and the rest of the group did not take too kindly to what she had done.
However, she talked things through with Tyler and they were able to put the incident behind them.
Tyler said he and his wife Brittany had a strong relationship which was not impacted by what had happened.
Her husband Tyler opened up about the night Kayla tried to kiss him and said it did not happen during filming.
“We are a tight-knit office, and we really did, for the most part all become friends, which is a unique experience for any office.”
Speaking about whether the show would ever feature his wife, he said: “As this journey started, I kind of wanted to keep certain parts of my life private.
“And as time goes on, maybe that’ll be different. But for right now, that was kind of the one thing that made me feel safe embarking on such a strange journey.”
