Harry Styles would ‘never say never’ to One Direction reunion

Harry Styles hints at One Direction reunion: ‘Never say never’

They’ve got a whole lot of History … and Harry Styles isn’t willing to walk away from it forever just yet.

The 3-time Grammy winner opened up about the possibility of a future One Direction reunion during James Corden’s final “The Late Late Show” on Thursday.

“Yes or no, will there be a One Direction reunion? Will it ever happen?” said Styles as he read the question in the “Spill Your Guts or Eat Your Guts” segment.

“I fear that it’s not a yes or no question,” he answered. “I think I would never say never to that. If there was a time when we wanted to do it, I don’t see why we wouldn’t.”

One Direction — consisting of Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik announced they were going on “hiatus” in 2015, a year after Malik left the band and made the five-member crew a foursome.

Though the boyband said they’d be on an 18-month hiatus, they have yet to reunite and all members have gone on to pursue solo careers.Corden — a longtime fan and supporter of One Direction — often invited some members of the band to appear on his “Carpool Karaoke” segment.

Harry and his bandmates Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson went on an indefinite hiatus in January 2016, almost a year after Zayn Malik quit the group.

Additionally, Harry spoke about the mishap during his performance at the 2023 Grammys in February, when the turntable stage malfunctioned and spun in the wrong direction, causing confusion among him and his dancers.

“When we first finished, I was like, ‘I’m so angry this happened.’ And then I thought the only thing that’s gonna happen is I’m gonna shout at someone and it’ll still be the same,” he explained. “And then they’ll think I’m a d**k.”

Styles and Horan, both 29, have both had weeklong stints as guests on the show during their solo careers and have been guest hosts of the show in Corden’s absence.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the boyband would reunite on the final episode of Corden’s late-night run.

But the show quickly shut down speculation on its official Twitter account, saying there was no truth to the rumor.

“Nobody loves the boys more than us … but this story just isn’t true,” the tweet said, in part.

His final “Carpool Karaoke” segment, featured global phenomenon Adele, who was in the driver’s seat this time around.During the 21-minute-long segment, the pair gushed over their decade-long friendship before the singer revealed why she would never become an EGOT winner.

Other guests on James’ farewell episode included Will Ferrell and Tom Cruise, who made an appearance in a pre-filmed segmen
