James Arthur has returned to Twitter, after he quit the social networking site in November.
The singer quit the popular site two months ago as The X Factor winner told his followers he was leaving the site for good.
The singer had been involved in an online argument with comedian Frankie Boyle.
It came shortly after James had caused a stir by using a homophobic slur on the site.
At the time Arthur announced his management would be taking over control of his Twitter account, saying: “#LOVE to my fans but I’m coming off twitter for good. HQ will be doing all my tweets from now on. PEACE!”
However, on Friday he tweeted: “I’m back.
“How is everyone doing!? I’ve missed you!! Tour rehearsals are going great!
“Can’t wait to see all of your faces in the coming weeks #LOVE”
The Impossible singer went on to thank his fans for their support.
He said: “I wanna say thanks to all of my fans that have been patient whilst I’ve been taking time away from social networking.
“I’ve seen all the love and support you’ve been showin and it warms my heart for real 🙂 New year New start! Let’s show em it’s just begun!”
