New Information Leaked Related to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Activision and the Infinity Ward development team recently posted new information on the Internet related to the new sequel to Call of Duty, i.e. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, in a new video that reveals the release date of the first-person shooter game. Modern Warfare 2 will be published on October 28, as per a new teaser film displaying the artwork of the game’s core cast, including Modern Warfare’s beloved Simon “Ghost” Riley.

The release date was shared as part of the unveiling at Long Beach Harbor, Los Angeles. For 24 hours, the team maneuvered a cargo ship featuring a presentation for Modern Warfare 2. What can be seen so far are just hints of what to expect in the new CoD, as can be seen from videos leaked online.

What Could the New Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Be About?

Modern Warfare 2 is a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare from 2019, Infinity Ward’s re-launch of the subbrand that began in 2007 with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare from 2019 is the most successful Call of Duty title to date, Activision announced, which gained huge popularity in the eSports scene and in betting on platforms rated by strict criteria at betting sites in Singapore. Activision unveiled the moniker and insignia for the forthcoming Call of Duty, which was technically dubbed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, not to resemble a 2009 game to the same title.

Activision has more than one shooter planned for this year’s brand, including the new premium title Call of Duty; the new Warzone game, made from scratch (as they explained), a free shooter with elements of battle royale, is also coming in 2022. The original Call of Duty: Warzone was released in March 2020 and was part of the content of Season 2 of the previous Modern Warfare.

As per insiders acquainted with the developer’s plans, Modern Warfare 2 will be released simultaneously a brand new Warzone map. This will be the third brand new arena for the spin-off battle royale. The new MW2 Warzone map will have a range of classic features, similar to Verdansk, which is based on Modern Warfare 2019, and Caldera, which was released immediately after Vanguard last year. With the new Call of Duty Warzone, Infinity Ward is working on Modern Warfare 2.

At the end of May, information on Warzone 2 was allegedly leaked online, including plans to bring the game closer to Call of Duty’s first Battle Royale game, Black Ops 4 Blackout.

First Impressions

Modern Warfare 2 reintroduces basic Call of Duty warfare, i.e. the game’s main mechanics. From our preview time at Infinity Ward, here are our thoughts on Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer.

All of the essential fundamentals that were wonderful in 2019’s iteration are much better in the sequel. In Gunsmith, which has been somewhat revamped to be more anchored in advanced military elements, players can now unlock “Platforms” that progress a gun’s evolution. The M4 Platform, for example, might lead to the unlocking of the.45 SOCOM or the M16. So, in essence, the platforms are a ‘family’ of weaponry that span various categories, such as LMGs and SMGs, as well as Assault Rifles.

On the new maps, multiplayer, like the campaign in Modern Warfare 2, will make use of new and better water dynamics and technology. There are hybridized automobiles that can travel on both land and water, and the maps allow you to swim around in the water. While handguns and knives can be used underwater, the projectile speed of pistol bullets is slower, resulting in less penetration, which means it will need multiple rounds to assassinate anybody.

In addition to the old equipment in your load-outs, there is new equipment that will respond to the new water mechanics. When launched in water, for example, the proximity mine will inflate a small flotation device so that it may float to the surface and operate. Conversely, the balloon-like bait is a new piece of equipment that appears in the appearance of a decoy person from Metal Gear Solid V, diverting the adversary. When dropped into the water, this decoy which inflates will take a swimming form with its weapon out to acclimate to its new environments.

Players Can Now Unlock “Platforms” That Further the Evolution of a Gun

Another piece of new gear is a Tactical Camera, which you can mount on a wall or ceiling and use to detect attackers walking by. You can even go inside the camera to operate it and search for adversaries. Drill Charge is a new ability that works similarly to Maggie’s ability in Apex Legends or Fuse’s ability in Rainbow Six Siege, where you can toss a drill on the outside of a wall and it will drill through and launch a grenade into that chamber, and it can also be used on vehicles. There is also new DDOS equipment that will alert you to surrounding vehicles and equipment and then discharge an EMP charge to disable them.

The goal is to either kill the opposing team or go to a spawn point where a bag will be dropped, which you must retain until the timer runs out. If you survive, you will win. Prisoner Rescue is like a mix of Call of Duty and Rainbow Six Siege, with a clear purpose of either rescuing or defending captives from being abducted by the opposing side. In this mode, you can also resurrect your comrades, but if your squad is completely depleted, you will lose the round.

There are larger lobby gamemodes that can accommodate up to 64 people, as well as 6v6 lobbies in the main gamemodes. The new maps look excellent, and because the campaign takes place all over the world, the scenery and places are diverse and interesting. The ping mechanism will be carried over and adjusted to provide an extra call-out and communication possibilities. The sliding mechanics will be retained, but a new movement mechanic called diving will be added. In it, in a last-ditch bid to get cover, you can double-tap slide/crouch and dive to the ground.
