Here are some popular Disney characters from films and a brief synopsis of their respective movies:

Mickey Mouse: the original Disney character, first appearing in “Steamboat Willie” in 1928. He is a friendly and adventurous mouse who is often accompanied by his friends Minnie, Donald, and Goofy.
Simba: the protagonist of “The Lion King,” first released in 1994. He is a lion cub who is destined to become the king of the Pride Lands, but must first overcome his uncle Scar’s betrayal and reclaim his rightful throne.
Aladdin: the titular character of “Aladdin,” first released in 1992. He is a street urchin who discovers a magic lamp containing a genie, which he uses to win the heart of Princess Jasmine and defeat the evil Jafar.
Ariel: the titular character of “The Little Mermaid,” first released in 1989. She is a mermaid who longs to leave the sea and live on land, but must make a deal with the sea witch Ursula in order to do so.
Belle: the main character of “Beauty and the Beast,” first released in 1991. She is a kind and intelligent young woman who is imprisoned by a cursed prince, and ultimately helps him break the curse and become human again.
Woody: the main character of “Toy Story” franchise, first released in 1995. He is a pull-string cowboy doll and the leader of Andy’s toys, who goes on many adventures with his friends Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang.
Ellie: a character from “Up”, first released in 2009, she is the childhood sweetheart and later wife of the main character, Carl Fredericksen. She is an adventurous woman and her spirit and love is the main drive behind Carl’s journey.
Judy Hopps: The main character of “Zootopia”, first released in 2016. She is a young rabbit who becomes the first rabbit police officer in Zootopia and teams up with a con artist fox named Nick Wilde to solve a missing mammals case.
Elsa: The main character of “Frozen”, first released in 2013. Elsa is the princess of Arendelle and has the power to control ice and snow, but her fear of hurting others leads her to flee her kingdom and inadvertently plunges it into eternal winter.
Moana: The main character of “Moana”, first released in 2016. Moana is a young girl from the island of Motunui, who is chosen by the ocean to restore the heart of Te Fiti, a powerful goddess, and save her people from destruction.
Rapunzel: The main character of “Tangled”, first released in 2010. Rapunzel is a young girl with magical hair that has healing powers, who was kidnapped as a baby and raised in a tower by an evil witch. She sets out on an adventure to explore the outside world and reunite with her family.
