Selena Gomez seemed to suggest in her Dec. 22 Instagram post that she’s made her peace with her roller coaster relationship with Justin Bieber and is ready to move forward with her life. But did she really mean it or was she just putting on an act?

Selena, 21, posted an Instagram picture of herself holding her baby sister, Gracie, with the caption, “I’m the happiest I’ve been in a while.. So blessed and thankful for the future, for release and to finally be happy for those I loved..”

“That was a message for Justin,” a source revealed. “She wants him to think she’s doing totally fine without him, but she’s still missing him badly, especially now because of the holidays.”

Poor Selena! It’s not surprising that she misses Justin most at Christmastime — she’s probably being bombarded by memories of the happy holidays they’ve spent together in the past.

We hope Justin reads betweens the lines in Selena’s message and sees that she’s still longing for his love. Who knows, maybe he’ll make her Christmas wish come true!

Selena is still so hung up on Justin that she doesn’t feel emotionally ready to see him on the big screen in his new movie, Believe.

Explaining that seeing Believe would be “torture” for Selena, the source said, “I’m sure Selena will be tempted to watch Justin’s movie but it would be way too painful for her at this point. She’s not over their breakup.”
