Because he was delivering mail in a small town rather than a big city, he wasn’t given a mail truck and instead had to drive his Toyota around town to deliver the mail. He ended up quitting as he said he wasn’t great at the job and ended up moving to Chicago shortly after.

When Carell was in college at Denison University, he worked the early morning hours as a DJ at the college radio station.
