What time are the Baftas and how to watch on TV?

You can watch all the glitz and glamour on BBC One tonight – February 19 – from 7pm till 9pm.

For the first time ever, the show will culminate in a live broadcast of the final four categories. In previous years, the entire show has been pre-recorded.

This year, hosting duties will belong to the Bafta-nominated actor Richard E Grant and This Morning’s Alison Hammond.

Speaking about securing the gig, Grant said: ‘I feel hugely privileged to be hosting the EE Baftas for the first time and the opportunity to celebrate the very best of the extraordinary range of this year’s films.’

Discussing her access-all-areas Bafta Studio segment of the show, Hammond told Metro.co.uk that ‘It’s the stuff you get to see when they (the winners) go off with their award. I’m going to be looking after them, guiding them through the evening, finding out the gossip,’ she said.

‘I’m going to have to remain professional, and I will be bringing my professionalism, because this is Bafta, this ain’t no joke!’ she laughed.
