One Direction star Zayn Malik has won a prize! Congratulations are in order for One Direction star Zayn Malik – because his dressing skills have gone and landed him the number one spot on GQ magazine’s Best Dressed list, voted for by readers.
It’s now the second time Zayn has made a style list – he was also named as one of their 25 Most Stylish Men of 2013, but placed behind the likes of stars including Robert Pattinson, Eddie Redmayne, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake.
However, the magazine’s readers clearly disagreed with that – and voted him as THE number one best dressed man.
A source said “In a sea of generic monochrome suiting on the red carpet, Malik stands alone.
“He was an early adopter of the bold bomber-jacket trend, wears camo with the casual ease of a Territorial Army foot solider and is possibly the only person on earth who can get away with a dark shirt under a dark suit at an awards show.
“No wonder he was the first member of One Direction to get engaged…”
Harry Styles came in at number 6, narrowly beating his mate Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, who took the number 7 slot.
Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne came in at number 8 and 9 respectively, beating out Superman – aka Henry Cavill – who rounded out the top 10.
