FKA twigs’ four-carat pear shaped diamond engagement ring from new fiancé Robert Pattinson is worth an estimated $150,000.
The 27-year-old singer showed off her new bauble from fiancé Robert Pattinson as the pair made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in New York on Monday night.
And now a jeweller has come forward to estimate just how much the sparkler is worth.
“FKA twigs is sporting a highly stylised bow shaped ring featuring a pear shaped diamond of approximately 4 carats with an approximate value of $150,000,” Morgan Shara of MAS Bisjoux jewellery told E! News.
Morgan added that the diamond is “quite the unique setting for quite the unique lady”.
Robert, 28, and FKA, real name Tahliah Barnett, began dating around six months ago.
On April 1 musician T-Pain broke the news of the couple’s alleged engagement.
“Well, the first time we even met each other, we met in the studio,” of his relationship with twigs. “Her music’s changed a lot since then. But she’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place. And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing. Yeah, to ol’ Patty. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that…”
The pair have yet to confirm the happy news themselves. However, the singer’s sparkling diamond seems to suggest the wedding plans are true.
It was recently claimed that while Robert’s family want the actor to have a “church wedding”, his new fiancée wants something a little less formal.
