Following your dream takes a lot of dedication and passion. Keana has been mixing up music since the age of 14 and it is clear that she has the drive but what makes this up and coming UK writer/producer/DJ artist of the month?
Starting out writing her own tracks in East London, Keana has been picked up by Kofi Management who have given her the chance to continue making incredible original tracks like Take me away and my favorite: Tough Times.
She has also been asked to Remix several track such as a couple of tracks she released in the last few months – Give Your love by Jaius and Runaway which was co-written by Sam Smith.
Keana has also just finished off her latest single with Jamaican rapper Blac Monie and his record label Spin City Records, Way up Stay up, which is was released on iTunes on 25th of September 2015. She is quickly becoming more recognize for her achievements.
Currently Keana Marcell is working on her newest remix for Sheanoo and Warner Brother Records and plans to work with Dappy.
Looking at her track history so far this should prove to be a very interesting mix of their two styles.
This just seems to be the start of a very busy end to 2015 for Keana. She is also scheduled to collaborate with US Grammy award winning songwriter, producer and music programmer Devine Evans. On the cards is also recording a new track with Kesington Kross and his label LaFace/Epic Records as well as being asked to remix a couple of tracks for Anything but Monday.
Keana has a great new fresh sound and has already released some great remixes. She continues to spread her name on radio and though her up and coming collaborations. It is amazing to see the development of someone with so much talent and determination. Her new remix, Way Up Stay Up, is available on iTunes.
