Reggae Factor British television music competition 2014

The Reggae Factor concept is simple. This is a Nationwide Singing TV Talent Contest where the winner gets to perform at a prestigious live show overseas, pick up a Cash Prize and a Recording Contract to help catapult themselves towards Superstardom.

The Show:
Each contestants takes to the stage hoping they will be the one to delight, with their chosen song performed in a reggae style. The judges hold hopes in their hands, but as soon as the act fails to impress, their live audition may come to an end. If there are three No from the judges the audition is over; if they last the full three minutes onstage, they could be in luck!

Through the audition stage, when the thousands of hopeful applicants have been whittled down to 40 favourites, we have five days of live semi-final shows. Here’s where judges opinion and public vote collide in a five-day variety extravaganza, until just 10 acts, hand-picked by the voting public remain for the grand finale.

There will be tears, there may be tantrums, but one thing’s for certain… one talented act, who proves they have star quality, will be crowned the ultimate winner of the 1st Reggae Factor series.
