It is the fourth film in the Thor franchise, and will see Chris’ character Thor go up against Christian Bale’s character, Gorr the God Butcher.

Chris is building the life he always dreamed of, far from the bright lights of Hollywood.

The star, who lives with Elsa and their three children near Byron Bay, NSW, said earlier this month that he is working on more and more films in Australia.

‘My focus ever since I had any sway was to shoot here in Australia due to, on a personal level, being at home with my family, but also because of the awareness that I had about what was possible here when it comes to the talent,’ he told MarkMeets Media.

Also in attendance at the premiere was Jaimie Alexander, who is reprising her role as Sif in the new movie.

Taika not only plays Korg in Thor: Love and Thunder, he also directed and co-wrote the film. This is the fourth installment in the Thor franchise and his second one at the helm.
