The new Disney and Pixar movie Turning Red is being released very soon and the cast just hit the red carpet for a gala screening!
Sandra Oh and her young co-star Rosalie Chiang walked the red carpet premiere on Monday (February 21) at Everyman Borough Yards in London, England.
The stars were joined at the premiere by screenwriter and director Domee Shi and producer Lindsey Collins. Singer Anne-Marie, Simon Webbe, Antony Costa, Siva Kaneswaran and Rachel Stevens, who has a cameo in the movie, also walked the carpet!
Turning Red follows Mei Lee (Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!
Annie-Marie was back on her feet as she put on an elegant display alongside Rachel Stevens for a gala screening of Turning Red, on Monday. The singer, 30, slipped into a stunning little black dress with a plunging neckline as she stepped out on to the red carpet at Everyman Borough Yards in London.
Rachel, 43, looked sensational in a sequined midi dress with a high neck and long sleeves.
The movie premieres on Disney+ on March 11.
