The BLS categorizes occupations into broad industry sectors, such as “Sector 53 – Real Estate and Rental and Leasing”, and then further into more detailed industries, such as “Rental and Leasing Services (5322, 5323, and 5324 only)”, with the first two digits “53” denoting this falls under the Sector 53 – Real Estate and Rental and Leasing industry sector.
