MarkMeetsTV: A Successful Red-Carpet Collaboration
MarkMeetsTV brought together presenters, filmmakers and entertainment journalists to take viewers onto the red carpet. The project was a hit, combining celebrity interviews, film-premiere coverage and press conference footage with the personality and industry access of the MarkMeets team.
It was a collaboration built around a shared enthusiasm for entertainment: finding the right questions, capturing the atmosphere and giving audiences a closer look at the people behind the films and television shows they enjoyed.
This page celebrates the project and preserves a selection of its videos, alongside the wider film coverage featured on the original MarkMeetsTV page.
Bringing the Premiere Experience to Our Audience
MarkMeetsTV built on the relationships and reporting experience developed through MarkMeets and UKFilmPremieres. With MarkMeets established in 2002, film events and celebrity interviews were already an important part of the brand’s identity.
The collaboration brought those strengths together on camera. Presenters handled conversations in a fast-moving environment, camera crews captured the interviews and atmosphere, and the production team shaped the footage into videos audiences could watch and share.
Its appeal came from that mix of access and personality. Viewers could hear from familiar names, see the activity around a premiere and enjoy conversations beyond the written article.

The Collaboration Behind the Camera
MarkMeetsTV worked because it brought different skills together. Presenting, filming, editing, producing and arranging access all contributed to the finished coverage. The project gave those involved a platform to combine their experience and create something audiences enjoyed.
Mo Mohamed — Presenter
Mo Mohamed, credited as MoMo, brought his television and radio presenting interests to the red carpet. His personality and enthusiasm for entertainment helped give the interviews their conversational feel.
Mo’s interests include music, fashion, networking and landscape photography. Away from presenting, he is a Liverpool FC supporter who enjoys five-a-side football. Visit Mo’s author page for more of his MarkMeets work.
Shaz Salimian — Filming and Editing
Shaz Salimian contributed professional videography and editing experience from television and red-carpet work. His role included capturing the interviews and shaping the footage into the finished production.
Mark Boardman — Producer
Mark Boardman, founder of MarkMeets, brought his entertainment journalism, publicity and event experience to the collaboration. His career spans celebrity interviews, music and film promotion, broadcasting, talent-show judging and writing for the press.
The project drew on that background and the relationships built through MarkMeets and UKFilmPremieres, connecting the practical production work with the wider entertainment scene.
A Project Worth Revisiting
MarkMeetsTV remains a successful chapter in the brand’s history. It brought people together, produced memorable interviews and gave viewers another way to enjoy our entertainment coverage.
Keeping these videos available preserves the work of the collaborators as well as the events themselves. They capture a particular period in film and television, with the conversations, personalities and premiere atmosphere intact.
