The first trailer for Captain America: Civil War has been released!
Whilst there was a certain amount of disappointment by not showing Spider-man played by Tom Holland it did have some nice little extras included.
For those who don’t know the story: the government has decided that super hero’s should be more accountable for their action, and more importantly, the destruction they cause. This causes a split between two groups – those for lead by Iron Man/Tony Stark, and those against lead by Captain America/Steve Rogers.
By the looks of the trailer this is going to be the most emotional Marvel film yet.
Although this trailer doesn’t explicitly tell us much more than that it does showcase some of those going to be featured in the fight: Scarlet Witch and Black Panther both join some of our old favorites like Hawkeye and Black Widow.
Of course there are some clear changes in the story already. It looks like James Rhodes/War Machine is hurt pretty badly if not killed, something both sides would find emotional, this is instead of Goliath in the original story. It also appears to focus heavily on Bucky Barnes.
TRAILER
Interestingly this trailer didn’t show was the inclusion of Ant-Man whose inclusion was show at the end of the Ant-Man movie. More importantly fans are defiantly waiting for are the first appearance of Spider-Man. To be honest I was a fan of Andrew Garfield so I will be interested to see what Holland has to offer.
The movie stars Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Tom Holland, Martin Freeman.
Captain America: Civil War opens in 29th April 2016.
