Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand are searching for retribution in the new trailer for The Tragedy of Macbeth!
Another trailer for the AppleTV+ film dropped which highlights a new first glance premiere at director Joel Coen’s transformation of the legendary Shakespeare play.
The clasp shows Denzel strolling down a lobby as he takes out a blade.
“Hear it not, Duncan, for it is a toll. That summons you to paradise or to damnation,” he says, prior to moving toward Duncan in his rest and wounding him with the blade.
The film marks Joel Coen’s first independent exertion without his sibling Ethan. It likewise stars Bertie Carvel, Alex Hassell, Corey Hawkins, Harry Melling, Brendan Gleeson, Kathryn Hunter and Moses Ingram.
“As a filmmaker you want your audience to see your film on the best, biggest screen possible. The worst nightmare as a filmmaker is that someone watched your film on an airplane,” Coen said.

As “Misfortune of Macbeth” is both a dramatic and streaming delivery, the inquiry definitely emerged at the New York Film Festival over Joel Coen’s opinion on his film being seen by crowds at home, and on a more modest screen. (This outwardly immersing Shakespeare epic should be seen on the big screen.)
The Tragedy of Macbeth is set to debut in performance centers on Christmas Day and will be delivered on Apple TV+ on January 14, 2022.
