Gerard Butler and Frank Grillo star in upcoming film Copshop

Take a look at the brand new and exciting trailer below!

Starring Frank Grillo, Gerard Butler, Toby Huss, Tait Fletcher. A wanted man comes face-to-face with his hunter, but can the both of them escape?

Directed by J Copshop follows unhinged con artist Teddy (Grillo) in the Nevada desert, as he implements an ingenious plan which he believs will get him away from the ruthless hitman Bob (Butler), who is hot on his tail.

Teddy decides to punch rookie cop Valerie (Alexis Louder) in order to get him locked up in a small town’s police station; he believes that this will protect him from the lethal hitman.

He quickly realises that jail might not be able to keep him out of harm’s way for long, as Bob has his own way of getting to his target. The hitman schemes his way into a nearby prison cell, biding his time until he can take a shot at Teddy.

Just when Bob thinks he’s as good as finished with his mission, an assassin (Toby Huss) causes complete chaos and destruction, and forces Bob to thinks fast as the newcomer throws threat after threat at the seasoned hitman.

If Bob is to escape the very same situation he got himself into, it seems he must make a choice: leave his target and escape, or perhaps even team up with Teddy and cause more trouble for the assassin who’s ruined the hitman’s plans.

The minute-long trailer for this upcoming feature shows Butler take on a role of insanity, as his character seems to be losing the plot; he will no doubt deliver a stellar performance as a man on a mission.

Grillo has also appeared in many action films, such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier and two Purge movies, so is well-equipped for this exciting new role.

The combination of these two action stars will definitely create a brilliant, nail-biting atmosphere as they are against one another, but facing the same enemy.

Alexis’ character seems to be a try-hard cop who just wants to do her job and prove to herself that she can do it; but with gunfire raining down on her and two contract killers running wild within the station, she certainly has her work cut out for her.

Copshop appears to take place mainly in the police station; using one location (for the most part) for many movies can be a blessing and a wise choice, other times it doesn’t work out too well.

The trailer shows close-quarter gunfights and some excellent action shots; perhaps Copshop’s seemingly singular location will be the making of this movie.

Copshop lands in cinemas 10th September 2021.
