Olivia Colman, Rowan Atkinson and Sally Hawkins cast in Wonka prequel

The long awaited film – which sees Timothee Chalamet cast as the famous chocolatier – has recently begun shooting the hotly anticipated flick with the full cast has been disclosed

With ‘Paddington’ chief Paul King helming the prequel to ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, the movie producer has enlisted some renowned talent from the surprisingly realistic movie franchise.

Sally who played Mary Brown in the ‘Paddington’ films joins Tom Davis, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Simon Farnaby, and Matt Lucas have additionally been signed-up for ‘Wonka’ appearances.

The cast likewise flaunts Jim Carter, Rich Fulcher, Paterson Joseph, Calah Lane, Colin O’Brien, Natasha Rothwell, Rakhee Thakrar and Ellie White.

Recently, it was said that Keegan-Michael Key had boarded the flick which strarted production yesterday in London.

The studio described the story as an exploration of the “vivid, mythical beginnings of the imaginative young inventor before he becomes the renowned scrumdiddlyumptious Mozart of chocolate.” It takes place before the events of the Roald Dahl book.

Paul co-composed the screenplay with Simon Farnaby, while David Heyman is creating.

Timothee will turn into the third star to play Wonka on the big screen, after the late Gene Wilder originally rejuvenated the person in 1971’s ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’, before Johnny Depp assumed the part in the Tim Burton-coordinated 2005 film ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’.
