The Amazing Spider-Man star Rhys Ifans addresses No Way Home return

Spider-Man: No Way Home is bringing back a host of villains from its previous films, but we don’t know for certain if all of the original actors will be back in their roles.

Alfred Molina and Willem Defoe are returning as Doc Ock and Green Goblin, respectively, as is Jamie Foxx as Electro – but who’s ventured out of the multiverse to bring Sandman and Lizard to No Way Home?

As it stands, Spider-Man 3’s Thomas Haden Church and The Amazing Spider-Man’s Rhys Ifans are tipped to be reprising their roles as Flint Marko and Dr Curt Connors for the upcoming threequel, but not explicitly confirmed.
And now, with just days to go until No Way Home premieres in cinemas, Rhys Ifans has addressed rumours that he’s back as Lizard.

Offering a predictably coy response, Ifans told Murphy’s Multiverse that fans should just wait and see whether he’s one of No Way Home’s many villains.

Well, you know, like most Christmas presents, the good thing is not knowing what’s in them until it’s time to open them
