5 Seconds of Summer: ‘We never thought we could make it to this point’
The foursome, made up of Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin are one of our favourite new bands at MarkMeets.
Seconds of Summer star Michael Clifford has admitted that the band never thought they’d get so big.
The group are currently touring the world on a headline arena tour as well as gearing up for their second album release.
Guitarist Clifford said that they still can’t believe their fame.
He said: “We’ve been touring for like three years. We get the opportunity to travel the world – we’ve just started our arena tour and we just finished Europe.
“It’s pretty unbelievable and I guess we just never thought we could make it to this point. But it’s damn cool that we have, and we just keep looking forward to the future.”
