Adele’s dominance of music charts across the world is showing no signs of stopping either!
The North London born singer has now topped the US singles chart with ‘Hello’ for the seventh week running.
Adele has since matched her previous best record, which was set by ‘Rolling In The Deep’ in 2011.
‘Hello’ has similarly topped Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart for a seventh week, accumulating 26.4 million plays in the US over the last seven days.
The UK sales alone of Adele’s 25 ‘could’ pass the 2m mark by the end of the week. It would be the 1st album in history to do that in 1 month.
Her comeback track which she performed on The X Factor last weekend has dropped one place to No.2 on the Digital Songs list.
At No.2 meanwhile on the main Hot 100 chart is Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’.
Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ stays put at No.3.
Adele’s newly released third album ’25’ is also placed at No.1 in the States.
Adele’s first concert in three years finally aired on NBC on Monday night and the emotional singer was seen breaking down in tears as she made her much-heralded return.
