Former X Factor contestant Amelia Lily has said she will always be grateful for the show.
She finished third, with Marcus Collins in second and Little Mix being crowned the winners.
During her time on the show she was eliminated but was brought back as a wildcard entry.
Amelia has said that taking part in The X Factor has opened a lot of doors for her.
She told Entertainmentwise that she is now able to do what she loves.
Amelia said: “I’m always reminiscing about my X Factor experience and I’m very, very grateful that it’s given me this credible platform.
“It’s opened so many doors for me, give me so many opportunities and I’m very thankful to everyone that stood by me through the show and supported me.”
Amelia is to release her new single California next month and her new album will be available in November.
She said: “I think it’s going to be released around November time, so not too far away.”
