Ariana Grande on Mariah Carey comparisons: ‘There are no negatives about that’
The hot ‘Problem’ songstress Ariana Grande has revealed that she doesn’t mind when people liken her to Mariah Carey because there’s so much talent there that it could never be a dull comparison.
Speaking to Us Weekly about the constant comparisons she receives to vocal sensation Mariah Carey, the ‘Break Free’ beauty admitted that it really is such an honour that she can’t grow tired of it:
“Mariah has been a huge influence on me since I was a little girl. I’ve even done a cover of one of her songs. I don’t think there are any negatives to being compared to one of the greatest vocalists of all time. It’s honestly a great honour.”
Showbiz star Grande also opened up about her brother Frankie’s ‘Big Brother‘ journey, adding that she’s proud of everything he has achieved:
“I’m his biggest fan, and I know how much it meant for him to be able to be on one of his favourite shows. But there’s also definitely been times I’ve wanted to jump through the screen and just tell him ‘Do this instead!’ or ‘Backdoor him!'”
Ariana recently spoke out about her decision to front bottled water brand Wat-AAH: saying that as someone who lives a healthy lifestyle she was happy to come on board with bottled water:
“Living a healthy lifestyle is so important to me, and this is one of the reasons I chose to partner with Wat-AAH!. My fans are my everything, and because of this, I could only endorse something I believe in. Also, I love drinking water and I want to inspire my fans to do the same. Now as a partner in the company, I am excited to share Wat-AAH! with everyone!”
