Janet Jackson’s ‘Unbreakable’ reaches No.1 on US album chart

Singer and icon Janet Jackson has earnt her historic seventh US No.1 album and is currently also on her seventh world tour too!

The album sold 116,000 equivalent album units in its first week. 109,000 of the units were from pure album sales.

The 49 year-old star singer who released ‘Unbreakable’ earlier this month having last released ‘Discipline’ in 2008′.

She said “Never for a single moment did I ever go without your love”>

History says that two female singers have more No.1 albums in the US than Jackson – Barbra Streisand (10) and Madonna (8).

The singer’s first chart-topping record in the US was 1986’s ‘Control’.
