JLS star JB Gill to release new solo single

JLS star JB Gill has surprised many in the music industry by revealing plans to release his debut solo single.

The boy band singer recently hit the headlines when he announced that he was going to be a farmer following the break-up of the band.

Now JB has shocked pundits by revealing that he has been collaborating with music producer and DJ Charlie Hedges on an “electro track”.

JB told the sun that the track will be called Best Night Of My Life.

Gill is quoted as saying: “Charlie approached me last year saying she had an idea for a house track and wanted a commercial spin on it.

“I said I’d love to write that for her — I recorded the vocals. It’s totally different from what I’ve done before musically.”

JB is not the only member of the boy band who is branching out.

Marvin Humes recently revealed that he will be co-presenting The Voice alongside Emma Willis.
