Lady Gaga unveils new ‘Til It Happens To You’ music video about sexual assault on campus
29 year-old Lady Gaga is back with new music and today she unveiled a public-service message music video for the song ‘Til It Happens To You’.
It’s all about university campus sexual assault, which also happens to features in the campus rape documentary ‘The Hunting Ground’.
The track was written by both Gaga and legendary Canadian songwriter Diane Warren, and the superstar took to her Twitter page to explain that a portion of money raised from the song’s sales will be donated to organisations that work to help survivors of sexual assault.
She tweeted: “@diane_warren & I made “Til It Happens To You” for people all over the world who suffer from painful life experiences. #TheHuntingGround. We hope u feel our love&solidarity through the song & perhaps find some peace in knowing u r not alone through this film. A portion of proceeds from sales of the song will be donated to orgs helping survivors.”
