An incredible concert recording, ‘Live In France’ from The Pat McManus Band, captures one of the true greats of the rock and blues guitar world.
Pat McManus, is known by many from his former bands Mama’s Boys and Celtus, and nearly twenty years of his own The Pat McManus Band.
‘Live In France’ was recorded in August 2022 at the Tribal Rock festival, Peymeinade, Alpes Maritime, by kind permission of the promotor Rene Marc Le Rolle’. The album features a bonus track with Italian Celt-rockers Uncle Bard & The Dirty Bastards, who this year released their own ‘These Are The Days (Live In France)’ recorded at the same festival.
Pat himself says, “I have been travelling around this globe for over forty years. Playing music, formerly with my previous bands Mama’s Boys and Celtus, and in more recent times with ThePat McManus Band. The great bonus given to musicians is the friends we make along the road, and I am blessed to have seen so many of those friendships endure”.
The Pat McManus Band are:
Pat (The Professor) McManus – Guitar, violin and lead vocals; Paul Faloon- Drums; Plunkett McComb – Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals
With hundreds of shows under his belt, including big slots at Reading and Knebworth Festivals, and requests to tour with them from prominent musicians as diverse as Phil Lynott’s Thin Lizzy and Sheryl Crow, The Pat McManus Band know how to put together a stunning set, as ‘Live In France’ proves.
