Singing sensation Mariah Carey has finally shifted 1 million copies of her festive hit single, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’, in the United Kingdom.
The track was initially released back in 1994, but has now passed the impressive milestone and is currently at No.12 on the Official Top 40. She gave a statement to the Official Charts Company about the song’s success and explained that she’s impressed it has continued to be so popular:

Mariah Carey said: “I just landed back in the US after performing a charity show in Africa for the Red Cross and I’m driving home looking at the snow in my hometown of NYC, celebrating selling 1 million copies of ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ in the UK. Earlier this week, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ was named the favourite Christmas hit by the public, plus it also made it into Spotify’s list of the most-streamed Christmas songs.
