Music star Meghan Trainor’s ‘All About That Bass’ becomes one of the longest-running No. 1s of 2014

Now in it’s fourth week at the top of the UK singles chart, ‘All About That Bass’ has tied for the record of being one of the year’s longest-running chart toppers.
MarkMeets can reveal that Meghan Trainor has now matched Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne’s ‘Rather Be’ with both acts having stayed at No. 1 for a month.
The rest of this week’s top five is made up by Ed Sheeran, up two to No. 2, with ‘Thinking Out Loud’, the highest new entry of the week comes in at No. 3 from Waze & Odyssey with ‘Bump & Grind 2014’, ‘Bang Bang’ by Jessie J featuring Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj is up one to No. 4, and Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ is down three to No. 5.
Other than ‘Bump & Grind 2014’, other new entries to the rest of the chart include Fuse ODG at No. 9 with ‘Tina’, Maroon 5 move into the top 40 at No. 32 with ‘Animals’, and Taylor Swift’s ‘Welcome To New York’ resides at No. 39.
