Shawn Mendes set to perform at BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session
17 year-old Shawn Mendes has been confirmed to appear on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge next week.
The Canadian will feature on the show next Tuesday 2nd February 2016.
The radio station tweeted today (January 25): “LIVE LOUNGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! @ShawnMendes will be performing next Tuesday.”
Mendes is currently sitting pretty at No.1 on the UK singles chart.
His track ‘Stitches’ hit the top spot on Friday (January 22).
He dethroned Justin Bieber from No.1 after 12 weeks.
