PR Distribution

MarkMeets PR distribution and press release publishing

Press Release Writing and Distribution

MarkMeets PR distribution helps businesses, brands and agencies prepare an announcement and publish it across an established distribution network. Our service brings together research, press release writing, editorial preparation and a report showing the resulting placements.

Whether you are launching a business, introducing a product or sharing a company milestone, we help turn the information into a clear release. Our team works with you on the story, supporting details and distribution package before publication.

MarkMeets has more than two decades of experience across publishing, publicity and content creation. Explore our wider public relations services for support beyond press release distribution.

What PR Distribution Can Offer

  • A clear announcement: professionally prepared copy explaining your news and why it matters.
  • Wider publication: distribution through the outlets and syndication routes included in your agreed package.
  • Brand visibility: additional places where readers can encounter your business and announcement.
  • Supporting links: relevant website links within the publisher’s permitted format.
  • A publication record: a distribution report with live links to available placements.
  • Campaign support: a release you can reference through your own website, sales material and social channels.

Our distribution options cover networks of more than 200 sites, with larger packages available. The wider network has a combined audience reported at more than 100 million monthly visitors. This describes the network’s overall audience, not the number of people guaranteed to read an individual release.

Press Release Writing

A useful release starts with a specific story. We discuss your announcement, identify the important facts and prepare copy that gives readers the information they need.

Depending on the brief, preparation includes a headline, opening summary, supporting detail, approved quotations, company background and relevant links. We also consider the audience and any requirements attached to the selected distribution route.

You review the draft before distribution. This gives you the opportunity to check names, dates, figures, quotations and other details before approving publication.

Distribution Networks and Publication Formats

Available distribution routes can include Digital Journal, Benzinga, MarketWatch, Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, AP News, Bloomberg and sites associated with US broadcast networks. Other routes discussed in our distribution offering include Reuters and LexisNexis.

The precise outlets, format and availability depend on the package and content approval. A release may appear through a syndicated feed, press release section, associated website or other designated publishing route.

A syndicated press release is different from an independently commissioned news article. Publication does not mean that a broadcaster’s newsroom, an outlet’s journalists or the organisation itself has endorsed the announcement. Placement on an affiliate website is also different from coverage on a national network’s main news service.

How the Service Works

  1. Discuss the brief: send an outline of the announcement, your organisation and the audience you want to reach.
  2. Confirm the package: agree the price, deliverables, distribution route and expected timetable.
  3. Supply the information: provide the facts, approved quotations, website links, image and any supporting material.
  4. Research and draft: our team prepares the release around the agreed brief.
  5. Review and revise: you check the draft and provide consolidated feedback.
  6. Approve distribution: the final release is submitted through the agreed publishing route.
  7. Receive the report: we provide the available publication links and delivery information.

Content Requirements

Releases must contain accurate information and a clear announcement. Clients are responsible for supplying evidence for factual claims and obtaining permission for quotations, photographs and other material they provide.

References to other organisations or individuals must be relevant, accurate and appropriately authorised where permission is required. A release must not suggest an endorsement or commercial relationship that does not exist.

Distribution partners apply their own editorial and subject restrictions. Yahoo-related routes in particular require advance review of third-party references and sensitive subjects. Content involving criticism, legal disputes, allegations or dating services must be discussed before ordering and may not be accepted.

We do not accept spam submissions or unsupported claims. Publication requirements may vary by outlet, so approval for one route does not establish acceptance by every publisher.

Publication Reports, Search Visibility and Links

Your report identifies the available placements resulting from the agreed distribution. Before ordering, you can ask us about the report format and examples relevant to the proposed package.

Where a package includes a publication commitment, the covered destinations and any replacement arrangements will be confirmed in writing. Distribution lists can change, and publisher approval remains part of the process.

Publication on a site that appears in Google News or Bing News does not guarantee that an individual release will be indexed, selected or prominently displayed by those services.

Links are commonly qualified with attributes such as nofollow or sponsored, depending on the publisher. They can provide a route for interested readers to visit your website, but this service does not guarantee ranking improvements, website traffic, leads or sales.
