Britain’s Got Talent 2014 judge David Walliams has been offered a mega pay rise for his third series!
Simon Cowell has revealed that David had managed to bag himself a better deal this year after his original two-year contract ran out after being signed in 2012.
The British comedian, actor, author and television presenter had emergency back surgery last November is excited to be back at work.
During filming of auditions, Simon warned one group of 50 dancers that the show’s £250,000 prize wouldn’t go that far between them.
“I don’t understand why you would come on a show like this. There are so many of you,” he said.
But David hit back: “It’s not all about the money Simon.”
However music mogul Simon retorted: “Well, judging from the lengthy negotiations you’ve had over your new three-year contract with ITV, it clearly is all about the money, David.”
A show source added to the Daily Star today: “The crowds were in stitches. For once Simon got the better of David.”
Britain’s Got Talent 2014 will air on ITV this Spring folks!
