Love Island confirmed for June 5th 2023 return

ITV have confirmed ‘Love Island’ will return for a new summer series on June 5th

Maya Jama will be back to host the 10th series of the ITV2 dating show, and comedian Iain Stirling will return to voiceover each episode.

ITV said: “Returning to ITVX and ITV2 in June, the Islanders must do their best to flirt, date and couple up in a bid to avoid being ‘dumped’ from the Island. With new arrivals, heads may turn, while others will prove their true feelings.

“From romance and heart-to-hearts, to betrayal, bombshells and broken hearts, there’s never a dull moment in the ultimate search for love. More texts, fire pit gatherings and challenges await the lovestruck Islanders, meaning there’ll be plenty for them to dish the dirt on in the Beach Hut.

“Twists and turns will follow every step of the way, with shock recouplings, unexpected breakups and dramatic dumpings.”

Maya will also present ‘Love Island: Aftersun’ live from London, as she catches up with former Islanders and gives fans a glimpse of exclusive unseen footage.

What’s more, the official ‘Love Island’ podcast, ‘Love Island: The Morning After’ will be back, co-hosted by Sam Thomspon and Indiyah Polak.

In April, it was said Maya was keen to get started on the new summer series.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Maya is chomping at the bit to get to work on this series too. Having her on board has given ‘Love Island’ a real boost and it’s expected that ratings will soar.”

‘Love Island’ returns on Monday 5th June at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, and on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player in Ireland.
