Mel B replaces pregnant Leona Lewis on Queen Of The Universe judging panel as she spices up season 2 of the drag queen singing competition.

Mel B is set to replace pregnant Leona Lewis on the Queen of the Universe judging panel.

The girl group icon, 47, will no doubt spice things up as she takes her place on the ‘Pop Diva Panel’ for season 2 of the Paramount+ drag queen singing competition.

Mel joins returning judges Michelle Visage, Vanessa Williams and Trixie Mattel, along with comedian Graham Norton, who returns as host.

Mel B is taking over the judging spot held by pregnant Leona Lewis, 37, who served as judge on the first season.

Queen of the Universe follows the world’s most fabulous drag queens from around the world as they battle it out for global domination, with countries going head to head spotlighting their top talent.

Each episode will see each queen debut a new musical performance in front of the Pop Diva Panel of judges as well as a live audience in the hopes of being crowned the Queen of the Universe.

The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and World of Wonder, producers of the Emmy-winning RuPauls Drag Race franchise.

Brazilian competitor Grag Queen won Queen of the Universe season 1.

Meanwhile, outgoing season 1 judge Leona Lewis is preparing to welcome her first baby later this summer, after announcing the joyous news via an Instagram post earlier this year.Zig-a-zig-ahh! It’s her first child with choreographer husband Dennis Jauch, who she wed in a lavish ceremony in Tuscany in 2019 after 10 years of dating.

Over the weekend, the expectant mother admitted that she has been feeling ‘nauseous’ and is still experiencing morning sickness while in her third trimester.

She penned: ‘This is me feeling the summer weekend vibessss (while also feeling nauseous!!!

‘Yes still getting morning sickness, which should be called all the time sickness whaaa) regardless still trying to enjoy & appreciate the journey. Sending love to you all.’
