Sam Bailey remains the favourite to win X factor this year as support grows

From the start we had Sam as the favourite Sam Bailey’s odds of winning The X Factor UK 2013 and now the odds have been slashed yet again.

The ex-prison worker overtook Tamera (11/4) as the favourite last weekend and punters have continued show their support for her, backing her in to just 2/1 (from 7/2).

Bookies Ladbrokes report that the 34-year-old is now the strong favourite to triumph come December’s final at Wembley Arena.

90% of all elimination wagers have been for Sam Callahan to be given the axe this weekend, however should he live to fight another day it looks like Abbey (9/4) or Hannah (11/4) could take the fall instead.

Unfortunately for ITV the odds suggest X Factor’s (6/4) going to take another heavy beatings in the ratings war on Saturday night it’s odds-on at 1/2 that Strictly comes out on top again.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “All the money has been for the Sams this week, but for very different reasons.

“Punters are convinced, though, that Callahan’s time will finally be up on Sunday night.”
