Just over half of the acts for the knockout rounds have been chosen after the Saturday’s first battles and this weekend sees the musical duels finish.

Each of the four coaches still have their line up to pit against one another as they try to eliminate three of them in order to get their teams down to just a total of six.

The steal twist means each coach can add an extra seventh act rejected by one of the other coaches to their own team but Will has already used his having pinched Nomakhosi Nkosi.

He said on Saturday: “I was missing that diva soul and Nomakhosi is diva, for real soul. She has what it takes to win it.”

The first twenty-four acts went head to head in a series of 12 battles as they competed to win a spot in the knockouts.

A total of 15 made it through to the next round as three coaches stole acts with only Kylie Minogue not taking up her option to poach an extra artist in the first week.

Let’s take a look back at some of highlights from last week’s big opening episode.

This weekend will see the remaining six acts go head to head with Sophie May Williams battling Cherri Prince, Iesher Haughton is facing Femi Santiago and James Byron will sing against Kiki deVille.

Kylie Minogue still has her steal left so there’s hope for the losers in the battles but we reckon they’ll be fighting to make it through first time!
