The latest song choices for The X Factor 2013 final have been revealed ahead of tonight’s final live show.

Last night saw Luke Friend bow out of the competition in the third place, leaving just two acts in the running: Sam Bailey in the Overs mentored by Sharon Osbourne and Nicholas McDonald in the Boys category, mentored by Louis Walsh.

Tonight the pair will be going head to head at Wembley Arena at the weekend, singing live in front of 10,000 fans and millions of viewers.

The pair will be performing twice again, reprising their favourite past performance from the show and singing their potential winner’s song.

The judges will each give their comments as usual, but it’ll be the public alone who decides which of the two is crowned winner of The X Factor UK 2013.

As we’ve seen all series at MarkMeets the bookies however it’s pretty much all over, with Sam now the 1/6 odds on favourite following the third place result yesterday.

“Sam has been our odds on favourite for some time now and these final odds are the most one sided in recent memory,” adding “The X-Factor crown is almost certainly Sam’s.”

Sam is the clear favourite to win this year’s X-Factor but it has only been the last few weeks that she has started to come to the fore. When she first performed her audition piece, she was 12/1.

She has been the subject of 15% of all bets placed during the X-Factor this year the biggest of which was on Wednesday from a punter in Coventry, who backed her to the tune of £8,000 at 1/4 which will see them scoop a £2,000 profit should she win the show.

Luke Friend finished third place having been eliminated last night.

The X Factor 2013 final continues tonight on ITV from 7:30PM, featuring performances from Gary Barlow, Elton John, Katy Perry and One Direction.
