Will.i.am is apparently too busy to join Cheryl Cole at her judges’ houses this year.
The returning X Factor judge had wanted her close musical pal to once again join her, with the pair having previously teamed up in 2011.
And things had all been set to go ahead, with Will ready to join Cheryl in the South of France this week.
But now Will’s been forced to drop out of the show due to a busy schedule, leaving Tinie Tempah to fill the gap.
Tinie recently appeared on Cheryl’s new single Crazy Stupid Love, which shot to Number One last month.
He previously appeared on the show in 2012, helping out Tulisa pick her final three contestants including Ella Henderson.
The pair – and Cheryl’s new husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini – will film with the Girls category from today.
“Cheryl was really hoping Will would join her but he just couldn’t make his schedule work.
“Cheryl gave Tinie a call and he jumped at helping her out.”

The X Factor continues this Saturday and Sunday on ITV with more auditions.
The judges’ houses section is expected to be broadcast in October.
