The remaining five acts –  Rough Copy (Pictured), Sam Bailey, Luke Friend, Nicholas McDonald and Tamera Foster – will both be singing two songs, and fans will chose their second.

Of course, bosses aren’t putting us in complete control, with each of the remaining finalists choosing three songs close to their heart that they want to perform.

Here are the potential X Factor song choices for the five hopefuls…

Luke Friend

Bridge Over Troubled Water, Simon & Garfunkel

Skinny Love, Bon Iver

One Day Like This, Elbow

Nicholas McDonald

The Prayer, Celine Dion and Josh Groban

Amazed, Lonestar

Just The Way You Are, Bruno Mars

Rough Copy

End Of The Road, Boyz II Men

I Believe I Can Fly, R Kelly

If You Ever, East 17 featuring Gabrielle

Sam Bailey

The Living Years, Mike & The Mechanics

Clown, Emeli Sande

Without You, Mariah Carey

Tamera Foster

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, Roberta Flack

This Woman’s Work, Maxwell Version

Emotion, The Bee Gees

Voting will take place via the Official X Factor app (open the app, go to the Fifth Judge section and click the ‘Choose Song’ button) and is completely free.

But hurry, as voting closes TONIGHT, Monday 25 November at 10PM. The acts will then begin rehearsing their selected song from Tuesday onwards before singing live on Saturday evening.

The theme for the other remaining song choice next Saturday has yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, next Sunday there will be exclusive performances from last year’s X Factor winner James Arthur as well as the hotly anticipated return of the beautiful Rebecca Ferguson.

The X Factor UK continues Saturdays and Sundays on ITV at 8PM.
