X-Factor finalists Anton Stephans (Porgy and Bess, Savoy Theatre; Smokey Joe’s Café, West End, Broadway and UK Tour) and Brenda Edwards (Hairspray, UK Tour; We Will Rock You, UK Tour and Dominion Theatre; Chicago – The Musical, Cambridge Theatre) will lead the cast of the saucy cult hit Moby Dick! The Musical at the Union Theatre from 12th October 2016.
“This is a fabulous casting” reported MarkMeets upon hearing the news, adding “The musical will certainly put bums on seats”.
Anton Stephans commented, “I am delighted to be returning to my first love, musical theatre”. He added Moby Dick! is a fantastic show and I can’t wait to lead this incredible cast, directed by the wonderful Andrew Wright. A man playing a woman who is playing a man! This is going to be a whale of a tale.
